Firstly I wanted to back up everyone else's plugs for "The Pragmatic Programmer". Everyone should read this book. And a great new book that I've just read is Karl Fogel's Producing Open Source Software. It covers everything that you need to know if you're at all involved in an Open Source software project - from technical infrastructure to political machinations. It's available online, but you should buy a copy anyway.
