There are 2 ways I know of:

#backticks using start<br>
my $rv = `start exceed.exe`; 
#system using the 1 option
system( 1, "exceed.exe" );

Perhaps I am not following your response. This looks like a solution toward starting the exceed process on my win32 system. What I am looking for is a method of running a command in the background on the remote Unix system via Net::SSH::W32Perl.	[reply]
