AIX 5.2 dial-up to MS RAS

mercutio_viz has asked for the wisdom of the Perl Monks concerning the following question:

Fellow Monks,

I am trying to do a dial-up on an AIX machine to a server running MS RAS. The AIX documentation is a bit thin, and the comp.unix.aix group has nothing more recent than 1999. If anyone has tried this on AIX 5+ I'd like to know what they found.

I have seen *SOME* Perl modules that deal with modem dial-up and PPP, but nothing specifically to address this issue. CPAN had a few modules sort of related to this but mostly it was Win32 stuff. Has anyone out there used Perl to conquer this kind of challenge?

Thanks,
Mercutio_Viz
