To reply on other people's behalf, rozallin, her boyfriend, and her boyfriend's family are fine. So are castaway's sisters and mother who were in London at the time. (The rest of her family was three hours away and of course completely uneffected.)

Really, the chances of any perlmonks being effected directly or in the first degree is remote; there were a lot of injuries, but London is a /big/ city. Also, most of the injuries were quite minor.

Indeed, the odds are tiny. Yet, they aren't zero. acme and his family were sitting right next to the so-called "shoe bomber" Richard Reid when he tried to ignite his sneakers on a flight to the USA. The odds of being involved in that little experience have to be comparable to that of being caught up in a terrorist incident involving 4 bombs on public transport in central London. So you just never know.
While nobody was hurt, a number of Perl people were within about a kilometre-hour of the bombings, possibly up to a dozen and including quite a few fotango people.

(1 kilometre-hour being a time-inclusive measure of proximity I just made up. Someone who was at a distance of 1km at a time 1 hour plus or minus from an event is at 1 kilometre-hour from the event)

Nice deployment of a 4th dimensional term, adamk!
