You sometimes hear emacs weenies say "Sure, I like unix. It makes a nice program loader for emacs!"
Of course, the same could be said for Perl. Update: I mean it could be said that unix makes a nice program loader for perl, not that perl makes a nice program loader for emacs. ;-)
