"/msg" as a link may work, but I'd put it under the "reply" and "d/l code" links next to each reply (and under the root node). Another suggestion for the name: "talk".

Yes, I'd put it there. "/msg" seemed too idiomatic so I didn't want to use that, but since it should become clear upon clicking on it, I think that is a good choice. - tye	[reply]
