Just a guess, but maybe he rigged it so that it's only for search engine access. I notice that if you google using site:perlmonks.thepen.com that instead of taking you to thepen, it takes you right to the appropriate node on this site instead.

It doesn't look like it's spidering permonks any more. I searched for some recent nodes, and google doesn't have them indexed. Try searching for the parent node, for example http://www.google.com/search?q=site%3Aperlmonks.thepen.com+thepen. Google returns hits only for older nodes, and thepen.com redirects to perlmonks.

It was a great service, and I'll miss it if it is gone. Thank you blakem for all you've done.

It is getting worse. Searching for anything on site:perlmonks.thepen.com reveals just a handful of pages. It's the end of an era. I concur, thank you blakem, for all you have done.
