You can find the full documentation here.

    /J\

All I did after installing it, was create a crontab entry for the directory I wanted to be indexed and then stuck the swish-e cgi program in the relevant cgi-bin folder.

My crontab entry goes like this:

      0,9,12,17 * * * root /usr/local/lib/swish-e/DirTree.pl /mysambashare | + swish-e -S prog -i stdin -f /srv/www/index.swish-e >> /var/log/swish +-e.log 2>&1

      HTH.

Of course reading the docs is the best way to get to grips with swish-e

Walking the road to enlightenment... I found a penguin and a camel on the way.....
      Fancy a yourname@perl.me.uk? Just ask!!!
