as gellyfish correctly states, if you want wiki formatting than having WYSIWYG is rather silly. But i guess you want wiki for the fact that anybody can edit any page. You want half wiki and half CMS.

    It's also helpful if someone has rudely placed you in charge of maintaining some old documentation composed in html. Especially old html documentation that was obviously composed just after someone purchased their copy of CSS for Dummies and wanted to try out every example in the book...
