Yeah its pretty funny when folk try and guess the meaning of tech terms. I think thats what happens when you put 'normal' words into things. My personal favorites of this phenonomem are 'Data Warehouse' and 'Data mining' everyone thinks they know what they are. Thats why abbreviations rule, no average joe is gonna start guessing at what 'XML' means. The converse of this is that people of scared of new things they dont understand, so to introduce something new just rename it.
