I already know the answer to the example in this post, so don't feel it necessary to reply with it.

I've got a list of 71 words which appear to qualify for the posted example?

    BrowserUk,
Is one of them 'house'? If not, it may have been because I made a minor error correction while you were working on the problem. The code had the correct relationships of letters in common (2 having 2, and 4 having 3), but the commentary had all 6 having only 2 (copy/paste error).

In that case, I have 8 words that match.

        BrowserUk,
Ok - let's have them. It would appear that my assumptions about the puzzle were likely wrong then. I assumed only 1 set of letters could be formed from the hints though multiple words might be able to be formed from the permutations of those letters. In this case, I can't think of 8 ways to arrange the letters 'h' 'o' 'u' 's' 'e' and not get non-sensical words.

        Cheers - L~R
