Why do I get the feeling that there's a new feature on PM?
I was especially sneaky this time... no one caught any server errors while I was doing my magic.

What are all these monkeys doing in the Monastery?!? :)

I thought that's what Monk was short for?

I said that "My Powers Of Observation Are Weak", but I was under the understanding that by "weak", vroom meant "excellent/bionic/robotic".

I guess since vroom is in charge, he can enter the Monastery as an obfuscation if he likes... but I don't know that he'll get much ++ for it. But of course he's seen to that too - genius!

I made the assumption when I voted that someone knew of the feature, so I'd see something I hadn't seen before and start digging. And, becuase that felt like an estimate to my brain, I padded it. 8)

Guess I now gotta put my money where my mouth was and wander around with an eye out for something new. Gonna go stroll the monestary. Might start searching on requests to get an idea what was added...

...you might be eaten by a grue...

Ok, I've found something new. I don't knwo if it's it, but it is new. And I've done the obvious something to indicate I've found it. If you know what it is, that should be enough to verify, if not it shouldn't give any clues.

And if I just found something that's new 'to me' but not to PM, then boy do I have egg on my face.

Update: Well, I've got egg on my face. I found the Everything Developers nodelet option on my user settings page. However, that was added yesterday, so it's old news already. It came out in the chatterbox what the new thing was. I was wrong.

...the monk learns that not is as it seems...

I think I just found the newest unannounced feature. A quick check with vroom ought to let me know if I did better than a blindfolded monkey.

    ALL HAIL BRAK!!!

I have discovered proof of the Reimann conjecture, will mail it to you after my trip....

It only took two weeks: Is the new feature in question here the new and improved Super Search? Or am I still a blind monkey?
(so, what was it?) Re: Estimated time it would take me to find a new unannounced feature on PM

OK, so for those of us who are not better than a blindfolded monkey (in addition to, in my case, having ungodly amounts of work that have prevented me from hanging around here too much lately)... what was the unannounced new feature? :-)

    --ZZamboni

As I recall, it was a "Preview" button for replies (vroom had recently added a "Preview" button a few other places) and the "New" button being renamed to "Submit".

You mean features like "here is a new whistle to tinker with" or them features like "It's not a bug feature" . . .

I honestly miss seeing stuff like:
Server error . . . please contact adminstrator with following undeciferable code: DF:34:A1:blah blah
from time to time, oh well . . .
