Outdated User Settings help file

This help file is a little outdated (on Jun 12, 2000 at 04:25 CET).

That's pretty much a pity, for now some recently added options are not documented here.

I suggest someone with the appropriate knowledge updates the help file.

Edit: this is my (2^7)th node on Perl Monks :)

Besides that, my code is untested unless stated otherwise.
One more: please review the article about regular expressions (do's and don'ts) I'm working on.

    FYI, you've quoted the creation date. It has been updated quite a bit since then. I also think that you'll have better luck motivating an update if you start the effort by pointing out exactly which user settings aren't currently documented.
