Perl Monks Mozilla/Firefox search plugin

I submitted a perl monks search plugin to the email address at mycroft.mozdev.org some time ago, but nothing happened.

So if you want to try out my Perl Monks search plugin, you can install it from my business web site:

http://pumptheory.com/collaboration/misc/mozilla/

The plugin has a caveat, quoted from my original email:

The one caveat with it is that the site uses the same url (index.pl) for search results and article display, so the sidebar results list gets cleared when you click on an article. I cannot see any way in the search plugin syntax to deal with this, but I am open to suggestions! I will also suggest to the site maintainers that they change this behaviour to allow the plugin to work properly.
Any comments from the site maintainers?

Very nice! Even if I don't use it often, at least it puts a very intriguing icon with a camel's head and Perl in blue and white on my browser.

Can't you just tell the plug-in that searching is done via http://www.perlmonks.org/?mozilla=freaks;node=search+terms ?

This one works nicely too, although your one-click link makes it nice and easy. Hmmm... <tongue location="cheek">Perhaps we should patent this one-click technology?</tongue>

Personally I prefer using the location bar and quick searches; 'gg blah' searches Google, 'gi blah' does Google Image Search, 'cpan blah' searches CPAN, etc. I haven't done one for PM yet though. You can find more info on them here.
