My new favorite misspelling: Monestary. | [reply] |
It always comes out that way for me, too. I'm always
typing "Monestary", scrolling up, reading the The Monastery
Gates link, swapping my vowels. But
Merriam-Webster says vroom spelt it rite, so I'll
just keep telling my brain it is wrong and one day it will
start listening to me.
Oh, since the rules for when (as in which day of
which month) daylight savings time (aka summer time) kicks
in and out vary by country, state, etc., I can understand
the Monastery not
"supporting" automatic switching between the two cases.
Your "local time" setting is just a simple, fixed offset
from UTC, which doesn't skip hours here and there. So add
the Monastery to the list of clocks you have to
adjust twice a year if this matters to you. ):

(but my friends call me "Tye")

There's the problem, you colonials and your oddball spellings.
