If it's the button under the "Comment on ..." bar, then it's been there since the beginning. The vote button is there because this is a normal view (i.e if you had replies to the node you're on, you can vote on them) and since you're on your own node, you have an edit box, so the two issues are not tightly related. He who asks will be a fool for five minutes, but he who doesn't ask will remain a fool for life. Chady | http://chady.net/
