Hmm, I'm not sure I understand what's going on exactly.
I would suggest setting PAR_DEBUG=1, but that feature apparently disappeared :(
Try editing the "executable" manually (its' a zip file) and put libwx-gtk_-2.4.so
under lib/auto/Wx/
and see if that does anything. Be sure to delete the cached stuff.
