    My understanding is that brian's award was for his work atarting Perl Mongers and publishing The Perl Review, Jon's was for his work with The Perl Journal and mine was for starting london.pm and (more recently) continuing brian's work with Perl Mongers.

    I think you need to listen to the audio archive to find out. (No, I don't have a link to that.)
      I haven't heard anything about White Camel yet but you can hear keynotes from the Open Source Convention here.

      O'Reilly Radar 2004 is particularly interesting and relevant to Perl programmers.
