P.S. It should be implemented as a mul-ti-pass compiler.

I was thinking along the lines of the immortal What a palava! As in "What a palava! Having to go through Java to get to Perl".

Looking at the TLDs, it seems to be a very English expression, though I'm certain that Dick van Dyke said it in Mary Poppins, and he is (was?) American despite the painful accent.

That said, one can't blame anyone for wanting to escape the tiresome rigors of Java into the sunlight and freedom of Perl. And it is dashed clever. What!

I did not know Palava is so famous ;-)

Wow. Perl as the 5th element in Java!

    Liz

As an expert in threads, can you make some Perl Thread test with PLJava? Thanks.
