That's a good option to know about. Looks like a nice way to make some sparc binaries. I'm not sure how much shell access I will be able to have on the server. It is quite possible that only the sysadmin will have access to the server and will install the program for me (so it would be nice to have it all packaged up for him in a single directory). I'll see what I can work out. Thanks for the tip. Also, that link for CPAN.pm is also very handy. To be honest, I hadn't used the perl CLI for anything other than module installs.
