If this mantra is true then we would be best to scrap the entire SMTP infrastructure and rebuild everything from the ground-up - Is this a feasible solution to the problem of spam? No, it is not. Any solution to the spam problem needs to have minimal adverse impact on existing mail infrastructure and implementation in order to achieve maximal acceptance and uptake.
