Most entertaining nodes

Monks,

I have been roaming the monastary for a couple of months now, and have found this site to be both a fantastic resource for expanding my knowledge and a lively and welcoming community for a relative Perl beginner. I always enjoy reading the daily round-up of "best" and "worst" posts, but after stumbling across this last night after a long day's work, wonder if anyone would like share their "most entertaining" nodes. Surely there must be more genius like this buried within these walls...?

Replies are listed 'Best First'.

The most entertaining node has to be this one.

    Abigail

That's the answer to "How do you keep a PerlMonk busy for hours?"

90% of every Perl application is already written.

I must have clicked this at least 23 times or more but it's still doing nothing. I'll re-install IE6 and submit a bug to Microsoft. Don't worry Abigail, I'll include your e-mail address from CPAN so they'll keep you in the loop.
It was the most entertaining, or at least time consuming. I clicked three times on the link until understand the joke. :-)
Very funny! :) If I didn't actively use "Open in New Window", I probably would have clicked on it four or five times before I got it!
Got me! I clicked 2x before I muttered, "Abigail-II has done it again."

At the risk of blowing my own horn, I've always been rather pleased with my response to paco. It seems I've managed to make paco's lone node one of the highest rated of all time :)

    Cheers,

My current favorite is Erudil's First Epistle to the Monasterians (149675).

I like Monk's ritual though this node is funny too :-) I still think A Monks Joke and my response is worth a giggle.
