Below is the code I am using
for my $row ( $row_min .. $row_max ) {
for my $col ( $col_min .. $col_max ) {
my $cell = $sheettwo->get_cell( $row, $col );
my $cell1 = $sheetone->get_cell( $row, $col );
next unless $cell and $cell1;
my $data = $cell->value();
my $search = $cell1->value();
if ( $data !~ m/$search/ ) {
print FILE "Row, Col = ($row, $col)\n";
I get few results and then script fails with error as below
Unmatched ( in regex; marked by <-- HERE in m/TECHNOLOGY Team ( <-- HERE SPORTS Team/ at excelcomp.pl
Also, if I use if ( $data !~ m/\Q$search\E/ ) I dont get any error but I dont get any result too.
Please help.

Posts may use any of the Perl Monks Approved HTML tags. Currently these include the following:
<code> <a> <b> <big>
<blockquote> <br /> <dd>
<dl> <dt> <em> <font>
<h1> <h2> <h3> <h4>
<h5> <h6> <hr /> <i>
<li> <nbsp> <ol> <p>
<small> <strike> <strong>
  <table>
<td> <th> <tr> <tt>
<u> <ul>

Snippets of code should be wrapped in
<code> tags not
<pre> tags. In fact, <pre>
tags should generally be avoided. If they must
be used, extreme care should be
taken to ensure that their contents do not
have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent
horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor
intervention).
