Holy cow... I'm seeing things like .. 8 million inodes, 4 million.. that's not a lot..
I'm starting to reconsider my db/fs stance. It *would* make a bunch of other stuff easier to use mysql- like, querying across the network. It seemed like a low class thing to do- storing all those text files in a db... hmm.
I think I could keep them under 1 meg each.
Eek.. If you'll excuse me.. I think I'm gonna go ask about the print server...

Posts may use any of the Perl Monks Approved HTML tags. Currently these include the following:
<code> <a> <b> <big>
<blockquote> <br /> <dd>
<dl> <dt> <em> <font>
<h1> <h2> <h3> <h4>
<h5> <h6> <hr /> <i>
<li> <nbsp> <ol> <p>
<small> <strike> <strong>
  <table>
<td> <th> <tr> <tt>
<u> <ul>
-
Snippets of code should be wrapped in
<code> tags not
<pre> tags. In fact, <pre>
tags should generally be avoided. If they must
be used, extreme care should be
taken to ensure that their contents do not
have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent
horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor
intervention).
