SVG has been mentioned, so I will just throw in this suggestion to keep things interesting: PostScript. I'm not aware of any modules that can help you produce PostScript, but it's not really that hard to use if you are prepared to do a little reading - there are plenty of tutorials online. What I like about PostScript (and SVG) is that it is not a binary format - just plain text commands. In reply to Re: Pixel-based Plotting in Perl?
