I get the feeling that, the more you get used to the idea of having that option, the more you'll find things that could be done better if you aren't afraid to use that option when it's available.
In my personal case, though, the primary use so far has been for unit tests.

Snippets of code should be wrapped in
<code> tags not
<pre> tags. In fact, <pre>
tags should generally be avoided. If they must
be used, extreme care should be
taken to ensure that their contents do not
have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent
horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor
intervention).
