well thats exactly what a friend of mine meant when she said that the movie points out that the greeks werent the glorified bringers of civilisation as which they are normally portraied.
Oh she also said that a spartan would have loved the film since it really captures the spartan mindset. Moreso than when it would have been a "historic" movie. Since historic moviemakers stay away from things like bloodlust and such.

Posts may use any of the Perl Monks Approved HTML tags. Currently these include the following:
<code> <a> <b> <big>
<blockquote> <br /> <dd>
<dl> <dt> <em> <font>
<h1> <h2> <h3> <h4>
<h5> <h6> <hr /> <i>
<li> <nbsp> <ol> <p>
<small> <strike> <strong>
  <table>
<td> <th> <tr> <tt>
<u> <ul>
-
Snippets of code should be wrapped in
<code> tags not
<pre> tags. In fact, <pre>
tags should generally be avoided. If they must
be used, extreme care should be
taken to ensure that their contents do not
have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent
horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor
intervention).
