Unless the word has some special meaning to your poem, in English, the word 'destroy' would generally be used where you say 'destruct'.
I think I understand what you are saying, though, and I'm glad that your enjoyment of Perl persists in spite of the negative reaction you continue to accrue here. I think if you work hard to contribute positively to the community, those who habitually downvote you will eventually get bored, and you will no longer be a fixture in Worst Nodes.
