Life is what you make of it. When my little girl was born, besides the enormous happiness and the feeling of uncertainty (of being up to the task) I felt, was the impression of being caught by nature again. There it was in front of me, "eternal life"...and I will never be selfish again.
Life is complicated, tough and cruel and I think the one magic recipe --that brings happiness -- is to share and help others. This is the spirit through which a few madrid Perl hackers are trying to revive madrid.pm, the spirit of all the Perl monger groups, and definitely the spirit of this wonderful place called Perl Monks.
Merry Christmas to all.

Posts may use any of the Perl Monks Approved HTML tags. Currently these include the following:
<code> <a> <b> <big>
<blockquote> <br /> <dd>
<dl> <dt> <em> <font>
<h1> <h2> <h3> <h4>
<h5> <h6> <hr /> <i>
<li> <nbsp> <ol> <p>
<small> <strike> <strong>
  <table>
<td> <th> <tr> <tt>
<u> <ul>
-
Snippets of code should be wrapped in
<code> tags not
<pre> tags. In fact, <pre>
tags should generally be avoided. If they must
be used, extreme care should be
taken to ensure that their contents do not
have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent
horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor
intervention).
