In my Win9x days I used to run an HTTP server called OmniHTTPd Pro.
It's very compact and incredibly easy to deploy. It does logs too and you get a bunch of cool stuff like virtual servers. I haven't benchmarked it but since you're running it on Win9x, I doubt performance is your main concern. In my experience, PWS is utter crap and Apache is just too much of a hassle to configure if you're doing small personal stuff (yeah, I believe in the lazyness thing). You best do a search on download.com or something because I forgot the official url for OmniHTTPd ... Hope this helps! In reply to Re: Web Servers For Windows 98
