I have the 'msg me when there's a reply to one of my posts' box checked. It's always nice to see feedback :)
But I've returned to nodes now and again to find there were more replies to the reply some time after I've stopped checking the node, or there have been more replies in the same thread I replied to. There's been lots of good stuff in those missed messages.
It would be great if there was some kind of a 'msg me when there's a reply to a thread I've replied to' option so I can stay current with the threads I participated in. Or maybe I'm just missing something in my configuration (for which I'm truly sorry for posting a discussion over it).

Are you posting in the right place? Check out Where do I post X? to know for sure.

Posts may use any of the Perl Monks Approved HTML tags. Currently these include the following:
<code> <a> <b> <big>
<blockquote> <br /> <dd>
<dl> <dt> <em> <font>
<h1> <h2> <h3> <h4>
<h5> <h6> <hr /> <i>
<li> <nbsp> <ol> <p>
<small> <strike> <strong>
  <table>
<td> <th> <tr> <tt>
<u> <ul>
-
Snippets of code should be wrapped in
<code> tags not
<pre> tags. In fact, <pre>
tags should generally be avoided. If they must
be used, extreme care should be
taken to ensure that their contents do not
have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent
horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor
intervention).
