Well, for those interested, even if it is completely off topic --
If you're lazy like I am, and have the necessary gadgets -- place everything in a blender, give it a whirl, then let it sit for ~ 20 minutes (usually, I do this while I'm broiling a steak). Place the beef drippings (or oil), in a pan, and give it a few minutes to heat in the oven (~400F)... pull out the pan, dump in the batter, then put it back in the oven 'till it's golden.

Posts may use any of the Perl Monks Approved HTML tags. Currently these include the following:
<code> <a> <b> <big>
<blockquote> <br /> <dd>
<dl> <dt> <em> <font>
<h1> <h2> <h3> <h4>
<h5> <h6> <hr /> <i>
<li> <nbsp> <ol> <p>
<small> <strike> <strong>
  <table>
<td> <th> <tr> <tt>
<u> <ul>
-
Snippets of code should be wrapped in
<code> tags not
<pre> tags. In fact, <pre>
tags should generally be avoided. If they must
be used, extreme care should be
taken to ensure that their contents do not
have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent
horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor
intervention).
