Just a suggestion for a new section wherein
snippets of code are posted by the monks with
one small error, (hopefully an error that is common
in practice). The educational challenge is for the other
monks to spot and explain the subtle programming defect.
After a while (hours, days ?) the original monk who posted
the snippet posts the corrected code.
The idea is to get the monks quick at spotting common
mistakes so that they may avoid the Illusions of Maya in
their everyday Perl meditations.

Posts may use any of the Perl Monks Approved HTML tags. Currently these include the following:

Snippets of code should be wrapped in
<code> tags not
<pre> tags. In fact, <pre>
tags should generally be avoided. If they must
be used, extreme care should be
taken to ensure that their contents do not
have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent
horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor
intervention).
