Please use strict, warnings, taint-mode (see perlsec) and read Ovid's CGI course, how (not) to ask a question ( also take note of the section on choosing a title for your post), how to ask questions the smart way and the documentation for the modules you are using. Also try your code to see if it actually does what you think it does, and after you've done that, if you still have any questions, try posting here again.
There is lots of very good information available on the web to help you along. We are *not* here to do your work for you or to repeat all that documentation.

Are you posting in the right place? Check out Where do I post X? to know for sure.

Posts may use any of the Perl Monks Approved HTML tags. Currently these include the following:
<code> <a> <b> <big>
<blockquote> <br /> <dd>
<dl> <dt> <em> <font>
<h1> <h2> <h3> <h4>
<h5> <h6> <hr /> <i>
<li> <nbsp> <ol> <p>
<small> <strike> <strong>
  <table>
<td> <th> <tr> <tt>
<u> <ul>
-
Snippets of code should be wrapped in
<code> tags not
<pre> tags. In fact, <pre>
tags should generally be avoided. If they must
be used, extreme care should be
taken to ensure that their contents do not
have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent
horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor
intervention).
