Generally PM's pages fit nicely in the available width of my browser's window. Occasionally, though, it doesn't, and an horizontal scrollbar is displayed. Personally, I find this very annoying: I don't really know what it's due to (yes, I know I may look into the page source and check for myself - just don't have time to), but even though it doesn't happen on a regular basis, I find it disappointing and I hope that there could be a mechanism to prevent such inconveniences at all.
For those reading this post now, it's happening in this very moment on Seekers of Perl Wisdom. 2006-10-20 Retitled by planetscape, as per Monastery guidelines ( keep:1 edit:15 reap:0 )

Posts may use any of the Perl Monks Approved HTML tags. Currently these include the following:
<code> <a> <b> <big>
<blockquote> <br /> <dd>
<dl> <dt> <em> <font>
<h1> <h2> <h3> <h4>
<h5> <h6> <hr /> <i>
<li> <nbsp> <ol> <p>
<small> <strike> <strong>
  <table>
<td> <th> <tr> <tt>
<u> <ul>
-
Snippets of code should be wrapped in
<code> tags not
<pre> tags. In fact, <pre>
tags should generally be avoided. If they must
be used, extreme care should be
taken to ensure that their contents do not
have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent
horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor
intervention).
