I'm a Win32 Admin so Perl has really helped me cut down on all those irratatingly long winded tasks that are so convoluted to do with batch files. Perl Automation and PM are the 2 things Perls given me over the last year+

Snippets of code should be wrapped in
<code> tags not
<pre> tags. In fact, <pre>
tags should generally be avoided. If they must
be used, extreme care should be
taken to ensure that their contents do not
have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent
horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor
intervention).
