Perhaps it would be easier to sort your data alphabetically before creating the worksheets.
This is the method that I would suggest as well.
Although it would be possible to do a behind the scenes reordering of the worksheets it wouldn't be clean and it would invalidate any formulas that referred to other worksheets.

<code> tags not
<pre> tags. In fact, <pre>
tags should generally be avoided. If they must
be used, extreme care should be
taken to ensure that their contents do not
have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent
horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor
intervention).
