Speaking of tests, wouldn't it be a good idea if the rules you came up with were instantiated as a set of tests that would run against the scripts in question?
Test/Rules that might make sense: Sometimes it is better to NOT have too many rules, but some "best practices" can be encouraged by providing easy, documented access to helpful tools.
