He is not imitating. Go look over his past Perl Monks Discussions.
Update: if anyone had any doubt about my opinion, the following PM “conversation” (really train wreck is more like it) might also be enlightening. I am aware that this was supposed to be private chat, but I believe that there is no room for misinterpretation here, and so I feel that my action is justified in the interest of general awareness. If anyone feels I am crossing a line by airing this, downvote at will; I shall stand by my decision.

(Bonus note for aspiring trolls: never assume you know anything about someone's nationality. You might just end up looking like a humongous fool.)

Posts may use any of the Perl Monks Approved HTML tags. Currently these include the following:
<code> <a> <b> <big>
<blockquote> <br /> <dd>
<dl> <dt> <em> <font>
<h1> <h2> <h3> <h4>
<h5> <h6> <hr /> <i>
<li> <nbsp> <ol> <p>
<small> <strike> <strong>
  <table>
<td> <th> <tr> <tt>
<u> <ul>
-
Snippets of code should be wrapped in
<code> tags not
<pre> tags. In fact, <pre>
tags should generally be avoided. If they must
be used, extreme care should be
taken to ensure that their contents do not
have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent
horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor
intervention).
