Depending on what type of applications you code, you might want to look at Maypole from Simon Cozens. He's posted a couple of articles at http://www.perl.org/ and also has a website dedicated to Maypole at http://maypole.simon-cozens.org/. Please note that this code is still in a state of flux.
There has also been a couple of discussions about Maypole on Perl Monks. See Maypole on perl.com and Building Enterprise Web Applications with Maypole.

Posts may use any of the Perl Monks Approved HTML tags. Currently these include the following:
<code> <a> <b> <big>
<blockquote> <br /> <dd>
<dl> <dt> <em> <font>
<h1> <h2> <h3> <h4>
<h5> <h6> <hr /> <i>
<li> <nbsp> <ol> <p>
<small> <strike> <strong>
  <table>
<td> <th> <tr> <tt>
<u> <ul>
-
Snippets of code should be wrapped in
<code> tags not
<pre> tags. In fact, <pre>
tags should generally be avoided. If they must
be used, extreme care should be
taken to ensure that their contents do not
have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent
horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor
intervention).
