I like your idea but it hardly could be implemented, because there already exist sections like "snippets", "code" and "Cool uses for perl" that could serve such purpose.
Mostly a problem that a person who will find a "Revelation" will place it into one of mentioned three sections (or will place it in "meditations", as people usually do).
A person who search a Revelation will never find it anyways.
Adding another section will add confusion, IMHO.
addition:
I think that really should be done in this direction -- is better clarification of what and where people should post, so that posts could be sorted better.
Sometimes people post ordinary questions in "Meditation" section just because they exist longer on a first page of section and hence has more chances to be answered.

Posts may use any of the Perl Monks Approved HTML tags. Currently these include the following:
<code> <a> <b> <big>
<blockquote> <br /> <dd>
<dl> <dt> <em> <font>
<h1> <h2> <h3> <h4>
<h5> <h6> <hr /> <i>
<li> <nbsp> <ol> <p>
<small> <strike> <strong>
  <table>
<td> <th> <tr> <tt>
<u> <ul>
-
Snippets of code should be wrapped in
<code> tags not
<pre> tags. In fact, <pre>
tags should generally be avoided. If they must
be used, extreme care should be
taken to ensure that their contents do not
have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent
horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor
intervention).
