Hi
As castaway says, you want Syntax::Highlight::Perl. I've been using it recently, and it's great, but (since you mention you're short of time) I also found looking at some fine highlighter demo code by the author of the module helped me get going with the module really quickly.
Have fun

Update: As Podmaster pointed out, bbfu is in fact also the author of Syntax::Highlight::Perl. Credit where credit's due.

Posts may use any of the Perl Monks Approved HTML tags. Currently these include the following:
<code> <a> <b> <big>
<blockquote> <br /> <dd>
<dl> <dt> <em> <font>
<h1> <h2> <h3> <h4>
<h5> <h6> <hr /> <i>
<li> <nbsp> <ol> <p>
<small> <strike> <strong>
  <table>
<td> <th> <tr> <tt>
<u> <ul>
-
Snippets of code should be wrapped in
<code> tags not
<pre> tags. In fact, <pre>
tags should generally be avoided. If they must
be used, extreme care should be
taken to ensure that their contents do not
have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent
horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor
intervention).
