Dear Monks,
Idea 1: If possible, I like to have a question node, and sections to post in as radio button or checkboxes or dropdown button, rather than going to appropriate section and type question at the end. This box should also be easily accesible from the frontpage or from your homenode.

Idea 2: I like to have draft for my question, so while I am typing and like to add soemthing to my question later, before I submit, I should be able to save it. Scratchpad won't serve the purpose here. Draft should directly have submit button. One draft per person should be suffice.

The advantage is that I can think something at one place (home), put little bit and continue at other place (work), with more handy details, so not much is lost in transition.

Use:  <p> text here (a paragraph) </p>
and:  <code> code here </code>
to format your post; it's "PerlMonks-approved HTML":

  • Are you posting in the right place? Check out Where do I post X? to know for sure.
  • Posts may use any of the Perl Monks Approved HTML tags. Currently these include the following:
    <code> <a> <b> <big> <blockquote> <br /> <dd> <dl> <dt> <em> <font> <h1> <h2> <h3> <h4> <h5> <h6> <hr /> <i> <li> <nbsp> <ol> <p> <small> <strike> <strong> <table> <td> <th> <tr> <tt> <u> <ul>
  • Snippets of code should be wrapped in <code> tags not <pre> tags. In fact, <pre> tags should generally be avoided. If they must be used, extreme care should be taken to ensure that their contents do not have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor intervention).
  • Want more info? How to link or How to display code and escape characters are good places to start.
