( [id://3333]=superdoc: print w/replies, xml ) Need Help??
Dear Monks,
  • Good:Perlmonks system works execellent, with the active participation of respected monks. Most questions are answered within matters of minutes or hours.
  • Problem: Sometime your question are answered but you are not satisfied.
  • Solution Concept: Flag System
  • Details:
    • Author should be able to raise the flag if she/he is not happy afetr a 'resonable' time-period.
    • Flag raising should be visible to others after the approval of members of 'flag raiser group'.
    • Flag can be associated with author's explaination for the need of more answers. That should be visible next to the node itself rather than deep down.
  • Flag Clearing
    • By Author: Anytime
    • Automatically: After 'X' reply or after 'X' days
    • Making an upper limit of times flag can be raised.
  • Advantages:
    • Increase the chances for qualitative and focused answers
    • Deeper thinking about the problem while replying
  • For Whom: Monks with certain level only.

Title:
Use:  <p> text here (a paragraph) </p>
and:  <code> code here </code>
to format your post; it's "PerlMonks-approved HTML":

  • Are you posting in the right place? Check out Where do I post X? to know for sure.
  • Posts may use any of the Perl Monks Approved HTML tags. Currently these include the following:
    <code> <a> <b> <big> <blockquote> <br /> <dd> <dl> <dt> <em> <font> <h1> <h2> <h3> <h4> <h5> <h6> <hr /> <i> <li> <nbsp> <ol> <p> <small> <strike> <strong> <table> <td> <th> <tr> <tt> <u> <ul>
  • Snippets of code should be wrapped in <code> tags not <pre> tags. In fact, <pre> tags should generally be avoided. If they must be used, extreme care should be taken to ensure that their contents do not have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor intervention).
  • Want more info? How to link or How to display code and escape characters are good places to start.
