I needed to do something that to the best of my knowledge
had never been done before.
I sludged my ways through many programming books
trying to find the answer. While the Lama did not tell me how to do it
it did tell me that it could be done.
A serious mistake for any Perl programmer
would be for them not to have read
this book.

• Snippets of code should be wrapped in <code> tags not <pre> tags. In fact, <pre> tags should generally be avoided. If they must be used, extreme care should be taken to ensure that their contents do not have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor intervention).
