pseudo-hashes are experimental in perl 5. i haven't read any news about their continued existance in perl 6. in fact, i think they're disappearing in perl 5.10.
thedamian's book, "Object Oriented Perl" can be linked to same as it ever was.
simple searches for 'pseudohash' and 'pseudo-hash' reveal the following:
and here is an off-site link to japhy's homepage http://www.crusoe.net/~jeffp/ where he has a tutorial on using pseudo-hashes.

Posts may use any of the Perl Monks Approved HTML tags. Currently these include the following:
<code> <a> <b> <big>
<blockquote> <br /> <dd>
<dl> <dt> <em> <font>
<h1> <h2> <h3> <h4>
<h5> <h6> <hr /> <i>
<li> <nbsp> <ol> <p>
<small> <strike> <strong>
  <table>
<td> <th> <tr> <tt>
<u> <ul>
-
Snippets of code should be wrapped in
<code> tags not
<pre> tags. In fact, <pre>
tags should generally be avoided. If they must
be used, extreme care should be
taken to ensure that their contents do not
have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent
horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor
intervention).
