shotgunefx: I don't wanna guess gav^s intent, because it is not relevant to my complaint. I am glad this has been brough to my attention. The only way to remedy uncool behaviour without a real deterrant is through communication. I already sent my complaint to grantm@cpan.org
update: Shoot the messanger? I wanted to shoot dws there for a second, who seemed more approving than he should (it hurts me to see good monks with impaired judgment), but I by no mean wanted gav^ shot. Just, due to the lack of the smily (;) which you later filled in as your interpretation, I wanted to know what he really thought. Anyway, i'm glad we all understand each other now (and i'd have openly said --shooot-- him if that's what I meant ~ very rarely am I subtle ~ some people like not having to wonder)

Posts may use any of the Perl Monks Approved HTML tags. Currently these include the following:
<code> <a> <b> <big>
<blockquote> <br /> <dd>
<dl> <dt> <em> <font>
<h1> <h2> <h3> <h4>
<h5> <h6> <hr /> <i>
<li> <nbsp> <ol> <p>
<small> <strike> <strong>
  <table>
<td> <th> <tr> <tt>
<u> <ul>
-
Snippets of code should be wrapped in
<code> tags not
<pre> tags. In fact, <pre>
tags should generally be avoided. If they must
be used, extreme care should be
taken to ensure that their contents do not
have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent
horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor
intervention).
