If you reach level 5 or monk status. You'll be allowed to upload an image for display on your home node.
The rules are:
- No copyrighted material
- Nothing obscene
- You have an 80k size limit
- Suggested width of 350 pixels or less
Now I know some of you had already embedded images from offsite. From here on out that won't be an option however if you've already done this and would like the power to include an image on your home node /msg me within the next week and I'll make it happen.

Posts may use any of the Perl Monks Approved HTML tags. Currently these include the following:
<code> <a> <b> <big>
<blockquote> <br /> <dd>
<dl> <dt> <em> <font>
<h1> <h2> <h3> <h4>
<h5> <h6> <hr /> <i>
<li> <nbsp> <ol> <p>
<small> <strike> <strong>
  <table>
<td> <th> <tr> <tt>
<u> <ul>
-
Snippets of code should be wrapped in
<code> tags not
<pre> tags. In fact, <pre>
tags should generally be avoided. If they must
be used, extreme care should be
taken to ensure that their contents do not
have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent
horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor
intervention).
