( [id://3333]=superdoc: print w/replies, xml ) Need Help??

Actually, it is March 31st which is my mothers birthday. (yeah.. awww... ain't that sweet...etc..) Silly as it may sound, the older I get, the more I appreciate what that 84yo lady has done.

Pi day gets my vote because Pi is such a consistent thing. No matter what day it falls on or what it is applied to, it remains constant, and while that is certainly not unique, it is so easily remembered (non-math guy here, yes... I recall trig and pythagorean, but not much else) and fairly easy to spell too.... :-)

Additionally, it reminds me of the two Raspberry Pi's I play around with which are fantastic little Linux machines. And then there is the actual raspberry pie which my grandmother made, which is just a tiny bit harder to spell, but tasted very good.

And thus, Pi and Mom win out the day for this old farm boy.....

...the majority is always wrong, and always the last to know about it...

A solution is nothing more than a clearly stated problem...

Use:  <p> text here (a paragraph) </p>
and:  <code> code here </code>
to format your post; it's "PerlMonks-approved HTML":

  • Are you posting in the right place? Check out Where do I post X? to know for sure.
  • Posts may use any of the Perl Monks Approved HTML tags. Currently these include the following:
    <code> <a> <b> <big> <blockquote> <br /> <dd> <dl> <dt> <em> <font> <h1> <h2> <h3> <h4> <h5> <h6> <hr /> <i> <li> <nbsp> <ol> <p> <small> <strike> <strong> <table> <td> <th> <tr> <tt> <u> <ul>
  • Snippets of code should be wrapped in <code> tags not <pre> tags. In fact, <pre> tags should generally be avoided. If they must be used, extreme care should be taken to ensure that their contents do not have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor intervention).
