not very polite.
but let's calmly summarize the discussion of my case:
  • I stated that CPAN is not covering modern use-cases like this was some 10 years ago
  • examples: AI, WebASM, and also datatables - which is from my recent task
  • I can find datatables module in npm, and I can't find similar module on CPAN
  • therefore most feasible solution for me (requiring writing less LOC) is to switch to npmjs

As author of some CPAN module(s) - I often write some 5-10 lines of code when my users asks a question on our mailing list, free of charge.

The point is - for perl there is no ready and simple solution, so I can either hire you for $200/hr or implement it myself or go to nodejs - where such a module exists.

I understand that my use-case is not appealing for you, so marto started wrongfully accusing me, and now you sending impoliteness to me.

sorry for making you sad, this was not my intent

Use:  <p> text here (a paragraph) </p>
and:  <code> code here </code>
to format your post; it's "PerlMonks-approved HTML":

  • Are you posting in the right place? Check out Where do I post X? to know for sure.
  • Posts may use any of the Perl Monks Approved HTML tags. Currently these include the following:
    <code> <a> <b> <big> <blockquote> <br /> <dd> <dl> <dt> <em> <font> <h1> <h2> <h3> <h4> <h5> <h6> <hr /> <i> <li> <nbsp> <ol> <p> <small> <strike> <strong> <table> <td> <th> <tr> <tt> <u> <ul>
  • Snippets of code should be wrapped in <code> tags not <pre> tags. In fact, <pre> tags should generally be avoided. If they must be used, extreme care should be taken to ensure that their contents do not have long lines (<70 chars), in order to prevent horizontal scrolling (and possible janitor intervention).
